There will be a public hearing on System Loss to be conducted by Office of the Sanggunian panlungsod on May 29, 2008 at 9 am at SP Session Hall.
I am inviting Icafe owners to attend the said forum on system loss because I believe its not advantagoius and its unfair for us being the public power consumers. Imagine, the public consumers are the one paying whatever operation loses/power consumptions from the electric public utilities, like ILPI.
Dili na kana maayo. Kinahanglan nga ma amendar gayod ang Republic Act 9136 or the EPIRA law nga maoy nag hatag ug gahum sa mga electric cooperatives nga mosingil ug 10% sa mga consumer aron maoy itapal sa ilang mga kapalpakan sa ilang operation.

Actually the Energy Regulatory Commission allows a distribution utility like ILPI to pass on the system loss to its consumers up to 14%. If you try to look the in bigger picture, EPIRA is really good for all of us since it encourages competition from top to bottom (Generation, Transmission, Distribution), thereby creating greater efficiency and lower power rates for all the consumers
