by overclocking, it involves pushing by changing the setting of your computer system (the hardware) so that it runs faster than what the manufacturers originally intended.
The motherboard, processor, memory be tested their speed rate than the factory's rate. For example, a processor rated at 2.4 GHz might be pushed to 2.6 GHz or your memory rated at the factory 200 MH z might be overlocked to 220MHz or higher. The extra speed results in more work being done by the processor or memory in given time or period, increasing the the overl all computing performance of the PC. This is what the manufacturers is doing maybe to gain clients.
Question: Can overclocking damage Computer hardware? Answer: YES
When you buy new PC be sure to include overcloking problem as part in the warranty.
